Newspapers Without News

Artist Joseph Ernst reimagines global newspapers without any news for his Nothing in the News series. Since last fall we have been hearing and reading so much news that it’s beginning to get exhausting. When I saw the above picture it made me laugh. If only all newspaper pages were filled with poetry and photographs. Imagine writing news in poetry? All the good news would be beautiful to read but on the other hand, bad news would be so depressing written in heartbreaking poetry. I guess that might have made people take a moment, and reflect on all their wrongdoings.
