Birthday Trip: Las Vegas

Last Friday was my birthday and I decided to take a short trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the big 25.  The trip was 4 days. Before leaving I was a bit worried that 5 days would be too long! I didn’t want to get bored in Vegas! Is that even possible? But for someone who’s not into clubbing, crazy parties, gambling in general everything Vegas, my worry made sense. But to my surprise, I think two more days would have been fantastic. I had such a great time. I ate good food and spent hours by the pool just relaxing in the sun. My opinion on Vegas has changed so much. You don’t need to party crazy to have fun. All you need is good company and your swimsuit.

The night before my birthday we went to Hakkasan for dinner We ordered chicken soup for appetizer, crispy duck with black truffle and noodles as the main course and pistachio trifle for dessert. That crispy duck with black truffle and noodles was hands down the best duck and noodles I’ve ever had. I just didnt want it to end. If you ever find yourself in Las Vegas I would highly recommend dining at Hakassan. On the day of my birthday, we went to the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace followed by a nice swim in their pool.
